Vital Alert

School Campuses

In an emergency situation, communications between school campus buildings may be disrupted, through either deliberate or environmental damage to communications cables.  In addition, cell signals may become "jammed" due to the volume of calls in one location.  Vital Alert's system is wireless, eliminating the concern about cables.  It uses an electromagnetic signal propelled through the earth, rather than standard above ground cell tower signals.   Finally, Vital Alert's system can be used to establish either a fixed or mobile command center for emergency response personnel in a shielded area such as a basement or mechanical room.  Vital Alert thus provides a critical communications link in the event of a school-wide emergency.
