In certain older or historic buildings, additional cabling is either prohibited or not cost effective.   Vital Alert's wireless, through-the-earth communications systems can provide communications links in basements and mechanical rooms.  They can easily allow the remote activation of equipment in basements and mechanical rooms, from a building manager's office.   Vital Alert's systems can also be used to provide one or two way voice, text, or alarm emergency communications links throughout a building.
